Cody Country Snowmobile
Association
March Newsletter
First things
first, our trails are finally marked and we would like to thank everyone that
helped get this job accomplished this year. Please be aware (if you aren’t
already) the lakes are very soft out there and your chances of finding open
water is pretty good so please be careful.
Congratulations to
our award winners this year: Snowmobiler of the Year – Michelle Young, Youth
Snowmobiler of the year – Jeremy Miller, Family of the Year – The Mike Kelly
family, Dealer of the Year - Roger’s Sport Center, our
groomer is Sam Taylor. And last but not least the winner of the Seatbelt award
this year was Justin Kelly.
Now for an update
on what happened at Fun Days in Jackson this year. Our club sold $2230 worth of
raffle tickets. Out of all the clubs the Cody club sold the most tickets. That
means $1115 will come back to our club. That’s awesome! Also, out of the 22 Cabelas awards the Cody club brought home 9 of the winners.
Congratulations to Tony Higbie who won the $500 Cabelas
gift card.
Thanks to Roger’s
Sport Center, Mountain Valley Motor Sports and Webster Motors for their
donations for the Fun Days silent auction. All proceeds went towards Access Wyoming.
Our club again
donated $500 towards the WSSA Scholarship “Schnapps” bottle auction. WSSA
raised about $7100 during this auction. Congratulations to Sarah Miller who
tied for 2nd with her scholarship essay.
Fun Days will be
in Cody next year so let’s get on our thinking caps and make this the best Fun
Days yet.
